Breakfast, lunch or dinner, Studio Diner has a variety of comfort foods to brighten your day. Something about the vibe, ambiance and people that just makes for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience. With their friendly staff, retro movie inspired decor and delicious comfort food you can’t help but want to pull up a chair and stay awhile.

Although they serve lunch and dinner here, I had to try their breakfast. I’m that person that wants breakfast no matter what time of day it is! First of all, our server Ashley is a gem. When we were greeted at our table she was all smiles and happy to help us navigate our way through the menu.

We asked what she recommended we try since we had never been there before. She suggested their famous Count of Monte Cristo sandwich. Let me tell you…I did not realize how famous this sandwich is! I received multiple messages from people who watched my Instagram Stories that day and they all expressed how much they loved their Monte Cristo.

After trying it myself I can absolutely see why! This battered and deep fried sandwich with turkey, ham, Swiss and cheddar cheese, and raspberry jam is to die for.

We ordered it with a side of mac and cheese, which Jarod instantly loved. Plus, if you’ve ever watched Diners, Drive-ins & Dives on the Food Network then you know Guy Fieri also featured Studio Diner on his show. It’s Food Network famous!

Then it was time for another Studio Diner classic, the Film Reel pancake! Normally these come in a stack, but for the sake of sampling other items on the menu I stuck to one. Honestly, this was the perfect pancake. It was fluffy, buttery and didn’t need anything other than maple syrup to top it off. YUM!

Now, if you are a fan of breakfast sandwiches, you will love the Gunslinger at Studio Diner. They use an english muffin for the bun and load it up with egg, cheese and bacon. Basically this is how I expect all breakfast sandwiches to be in the future because I could eat this Studio Diner version every morning!

Last but certainly not least we had to try one of their milkshakes. Jarod is obsessed with milkshakes and I’m pretty sure he would eat them morning, noon and night if I let him. We were also happy to discover they offer a Root Beer Freeze! It’s basically a milkshake made with Root Beer but they’ve become harder to find these days. It may sound simple but some things don’t need to be messed with. If you’ve never tried one before, do yourself a favor and order one from Studio Diner ASAP!

Thank you Studio Diner for having us! Already planning our next trip, because let’s be honest, you have the best Monte Cristo in town!
