Brunch At The Westgate Hotel's Fontainebleau Room

The Westgate Hotel has been hosting Sunday brunch in their elegant Fountainebleau Room since 1971 so it's no coincidence that it's one of the best in all of San Diego. Jarod and I recently enjoyed a beautiful brunch experience there ourselves and since Easter is just around the corner, I thought it would be perfect timing to tell you all about it!

Easter brunch can be a daunting task if you are hosting family at home. Let The Westgate handle everything for you! Did I mention that all of their breakfast cocktails are bottomless? Mimosas, Bloody Mary's, Margaritas, you can have it all and it's included in your total brunch cost ($65 per adult).

All the fresh oysters you can eat!

I started things off with a Bloody Mary which was excellent, but once I saw Jarod's Tequila Sunrise, I had to have it! Not only is it pretty to look at, but these drinks are not watered down.

Special shout out to our server who recommended I take my drink up to their private rooftop garden for this amazing photo. It perfectly captures the vibe of Sunday Funday if you ask me!

    Humboldt Fog Cheese Galore!

Now, let's talk food. When it comes to brunch at the Westgate you need to come prepared to eat. They have everything you could possibly dream of from sushi, crepes and even an epic chocolate fountain!

    Beautiful Prime Rib

Call me old fashioned but my two favorite things were the crepe station and the prime rib. Something about having someone prepare fresh crepes on the spot just makes it that much more exciting. They also have someone on staff ready to slice up your dream piece of prime rib.

    Adorable dumplings!
    The epic chocolate fountain!

No matter what you decide to try at the Westgate for brunch chances are you will love it! The live piano music, fresh omelets and bottomless drinks will keep me coming back. Thank you to the lovely staff and chefs who made our experience a memorable one. We will see you again soon!

I unintentionally ended up matching the decor.
Candid photos of Jarod are my favorite.
