Le Parfait Paris - Downtown San Diego

Looking for a taste of Paris here in San Diego? Then Le Parfait Paris is the perfect getaway in the heart of the Gaslamp Quarter. When you first enter this adorable restaurant you might notice the beautiful pastries out on display. They showcase them in glass display cases so you can get an idea of what they have to offer.

The event I went to, hosted by Zipkick, was in the evening so I unfortunately didn't get a chance to try their brunch menu. But if the little mini quiches are a preview of what they have on the menu, I will definitely be back soon to try it out.

From their famous macarons, to the puff pastries and wine everything was beautiful and delicious.

One of the best parts was having a chance to speak with the COO, Ludivine Mas about not only her love of working with food bloggers(like yours truly), but also how they are able to present such delicious desserts without adding in ANY sugar. That's right. These treats are sugar free aside from the natural fruits that are used in the recipe.

They also work with local farmers to source all of their fresh ingredients.

My favorite dessert was the giant Strawberry Macaron with Vanilla Bean pastry cream. It looked intimidatingly sweet at first, but after my first bite I new this was not the case. Truly perfect in presentation and flavor. This would pair perfectly with my morning coffee or an evening glass of sparkling wine.

Thank you Ludivine and Le Parfait Paris for the hospitality. I'm already looking forward to returning again soon to try more of your amazing menu!
