Breakfast at Disneyland's River Belle Terrace

There are only a few restaurants in Disneyland where you can make reservations for breakfast. The River Belle Terrace is one of those options and I recommend making your reservations at least two weeks in advance of your trip to the park. Sometimes they allow walk-ins, but I say better safe than sorry!

Love the decor at the River Belle Terrace

A good dining time in the morning is around 10 AM. Jarod and I almost always get to the park for rope drop at 8 AM so at that point we will have gone on quite a few rides and worked up an appetite.

The restaurant also has great lighting for photos!

Whether you are in the mood for a sweet or savory breakfast, The River Belle Terrace has several options. My only complaint is that the beverage menu is a bit lacking. I love my coffee a little “extra” and the only option they have is drip coffee with sugar and half and half. Simply offering vanilla creamer would make me happier, but alas they don’t offer it. I suggest grabbing a fresh orange juice and saving your money to grab a nice coffee from Starbucks on Mainstreet USA.

    Monkey Bread

If you’re extra hungry or have a small family to feed, I recommend starting off with their delicious Monkey Bread. It’s a warm and buttery Sweet Bread with Pecan Butter, Maple Syrup, Candied Pecans, and Powdered Sugar.

    Mickey Pancakes

For their Signature Entree options the hardest choice is sweet or savory. Jarod and I often decide to share two different ones so we can have the best of both worlds. Want a fun Mickey shaped breakfast? I recommend the Mickey-shaped Pancake. It comes with Maple Syrup, Whipped Butter, Seasonal Berries, Applewood-smoked Bacon or Chicken Sausage.

    Country Biscuits & Gravy

Want something a bit heartier? The Country Biscuits and Gravy are amazing. It's Crispy Chicken Breast with freshly Baked Biscuits, Bacon Gravy, Chicken Crackling, and Blistered Tomatoes. One of my favorite breakfasts in the park! I love the fresh biscuit and bacon gravy.

    The Short Rib Skillet

Another solid savory breakfast option is the Short Rib Skillet. Hidden underneath two perfect sunny-side up eggs is Slow-cooked Short Rib, Signature Potatoes, Onions, Peppers, and a side of Texas Toast. Add a dash of Tabasco on top for a little spice!

I hope you’re enjoying my reviews of the different dining options available at Disneyland. If you have questions about an upcoming trip you’re planning don’t hesitate to send me a message on Instagram!
