How To Make A Spicy Bloody Mary

This Spicy Bloody Mary Recipe is the perfect way to cure a hangover or serve at home for brunch. It includes lots of garnish ideas as well so you can create a Bloody Mary Bar and have people dress them up however they want.

    Bloody Mary Garnish Ideas

I used these amazing Raw Rutes Cocktail Picks to decorate my Bloody Mary. It came in a great kit from Amazon and it’s a great place to start if you want to buy most of the things I used for this cocktail recipe. The perishable items I picked up at my local grocery store. This is where you can have fun and add all sorts of things. I garnished mine with a spicy meat stick, baby corn and even a grape tomato! You could also include things like a chicken wing, crispy bacon or toast. The bloody mary garnish possibilities are endless!

    How To Make It Spicy

If you like things a little less spicy, I recommend omitting the horseradish. Some people love it (I’m that person) and other people don’t. That’s the beauty of making your own Bloody Mary’s at home! Just include what you like. There are no rules here. I also include Tabasco which is another ingredient you can tailor to your level of desired spiciness. If you’re not sure what that is, try a few dashes to start. If you want it spicier after that first sip, add a few more and mix it in.

    Ingredients:

    For Garnish:

    Jalapeño Beef Stick

    Baby Corn

    Garlic Stuffed Green Olives

    Grape Tomatoes

    Hot Chili Peppers

    Celery

    Spicy Bloody Mary Garnishes

    For Cocktail:

2 oz. Vodka Of Your Choice

6 oz. Bloody Mary Mix or Tomato Juice

    Dash of Celery Salt

    ½ Tsp. Horseradish

    2-3 Dashes Tabasco Sauce

    5 Dashes Worcestershire sauce

    Black Pepper To Taste

    Directions:

    1. Start by prepping your garnishes. Make sure all vegetables have been rinsed thoroughly and your celery stalk is cut to a height you like.
    2. Cut a slit in the middle of your lime wedge and rub it around the lip of your glass. Pour a layer of your chili lime seasoning onto a small plate. Then flip your cup on top to distribute the seasoning on the rim of your glass.
    3. Now add your celery stick and ice cubes to the glass. Pour all of the liquid ingredients in first and then finish up with all of the other sauces and seasonings. Use your celery stick to mix it all together!
    4. Once your cocktail is mixed, decorate your Bloody Mary cocktail tree or use a cocktail pick you have on hand with your favorite garnishes.
    5. Serve and enjoy!
