When it comes to pizza in San Diego I've been on the hunt for the best places in town to include here on my blog. By asking friends, family and my followers where I should try next I decided Milo's Pizza would be the next place to include here on my blog. I know many people who claim that Milo's has the best pizza in San Diego so of course I had to bring that knowledge to all of you fellow food adventurers.
Compared to some of the other places I've already featured here on my blog they are definitely the most casual pizza eatery so far. You could choose to dine in, but they're really more of a take-out spot due to the limited seating they have. This didn't stop me from trying them out! I love a good pizza night at home as I'm sure many of you do as well. You can stay in with your friends or loved one, watch a movie and just relax!
One of my favorite things about Milo's Pizza is the variety of pizza toppings they offer. I'm a fan of classic pepperoni of course but I also enjoy pizzas with lots of different flavors. For this review I tried the pepperoni but I'll admit I enjoyed the 'Slims' much more!
It's not that I didn't like the pepperoni but it was a bit greasier than I personally prefer. Some people enjoy the grease, but I felt I needed to give it a few dabs with a paper towel first. However, the ‘Slims’ combo was simply amazing! This pizza alone would keep me coming back. It has chicken, ranch, bacon, tomato, and a beautiful swirl of pesto.
All in all I would say that Milo’s Pizza is a great local spot for anyone looking to do takeout. Their prices are reasonable and if you’re not feeling pizza you can order a salad or a sub sandwich!
