    The Tropical Hideaway at Disneyland

One of the latest additions to Disneyland’s restaurant offerings is the Tropical Hideaway. Located right next door to the Tiki Room and The Jungle Cruise. It fits perfectly with Adventureland’s theme and has tasty treats to beat the heat!

If you’re a fan of the infamous Dole Whip then you will be happy to know that not only do they offer the classic version but also new flavors! You can choose pineapple, orange and raspberry! Can’t decide which one you want? Get a swirl of two different flavors. In my opinion you can’t really go wrong with any of the options.

Want to top it off with a little something extra? They also have new Loaded Whips! These are Dole Whip flavors of your choice topped with exotic fruit, crystallized hibiscus, and Pocky sticks. I really enjoyed having so many new options aside from the traditional Dole Whip. Everytime I go I can try a different combination!

Another great thing to order at the Tropical Hideaway are the Baos! You can choose from 3 different flavors such as the Spiced Vegetable, Lime Chicken, and Bulgogi Beef. I didn’t try the Spiced Vegetable Bao but the other two were delicious!

    The Lime Chicken Bao

I think the Lime Chicken was my favorite but honestly I would be happy with either one. The Bao buns are so soft and fluffy and the filling inside them is pretty substantial so at $5.99 a piece you definitely get a good bang for your buck!

If you’re planning a trip to Disneyland soon, definitely make the Tropical Hideaway a stop on your itinerary! It’s a great little spot for something sweet and savory in the park that won’t break the bank. Need more ideas for your next trip? Check out my Disneyland archive!
